On the 8th of September our team of 8 Wesley students will be competing in the Rescue Run – Youthline.
It is sponsored by Cisco (Australia/NZ) the CEO who is Wesley Old Boy Dave Wilson.
The prize for the winning School is over $12,000 of IT gear from Cisco. http://www.rescuerun.org.nz/
Our Wesley Team will compete against other secondary schools in a 15km course set up at Woodhill Forrest, North west Auckland.
The Course will include various life rescue scenarios where each team has to rescue a person from the scenario.
The Team will need to work as a team, make decisions to save a life and fulfil each role they are given for the benefit of the team’s success. It will be a great team bonding exercise for those students being considered for leadership next year.
