Duvall Reihana

100m Auckland Junior Champion 2024 

On Tuesday 26th March, Duvall represented the college at the Auckland Secondary School Athletics Champs. Duvall ran lane 1 at a time of 11.94 in the preliminary heats. Having the fastest qualifying time (and gaining a new PB), he secured lane 4 for the final.   

Duvall went on to win gold with a new PB (personal best) of 11.88sec. He was .33 away from breaking the record which was set in 2009 at 11.55sec. 

In the summer Duvall trains with Papakura Athletics Club. He represented the club at the North Island Colgate Games in January. Here he ran the fastest time for 13 Boys 100m out of all North Island Athletics clubs. In winter Duvall swaps his spikes for rugby boots. He is looking forward to playing for the Wesley Under 14's this season.
