Work experience course ran by Puatala
12 students from year 13 took part in a week-long work experience course ran by an external provider, Puatala.
Students spent 2 days in school learning how to spice up their CV, how to take part in a job interview, how to manage stress at work and even how to get a good nights sleep so that you can flourish at work.
Out of school, students experienced logistics and freight distribution at Fliway, healthcare at Metilife Care in Papakura, Placemakers for construction and office administration work at LM4 group.
It was a great insight into the world of work for our seniors and a taste of the kind of jobs they may want to get into.
Each received 9 Level 3 credits for their effort.
Well done all students, especially for representing the College in such a superb and uplifting way.
