Stanton House takes out first place in this year’s speech competition
This year's Winstone Cup Inter-house speech competition featured some very talented young orators form Years 9 through to 13. The topics were varied and interesting from cultural heritage, seeking success, overcoming adversity, and looking after our mental health. The competition was judged by Mr Martin Bennett (DP at Pukekohe High School) and Mr Pasi Haufano (CEO of Zeducation NZ).
Our speech champions for 2024 are as follows:
Junior Speech Champion: Te Rina Ngataki
Intermediate Speech Champion: Rachel Sikulu
Senior Speech Champion: Cassidy Leef-Koia
Stanton House takes out first place in this year’s speech competition followed by School House in second and very closely behind Simmonds in third and Winstone in fourth place.
