Principals visit to Samoa, Fiji and Tonga
I recently had the privilege of representing Wesley College for a trip to the Pacific Islands where we have many past students working and living. It was a great opportunity to connect with many past pupils and families. The thing that shone through brightly, was the love and respect all the past pupils had for our College. They remain grateful for what the school did for them over the years and reflect on how it laid the platform for them in their working lives.
The intention is to have regular visits and build a strong connection and relationship. It is a unique blessing that is probably unmatched by any college in New Zealand. It was also warming to see how our strong the ‘brand’ of Wesley College remains in these countries. In Fiji in particular, literary hundreds of people turned up to hear about current opportunities at Wesley College.
