It’s only a small token of appreciation, but to thank everyone for all the cover and extra yards we will close school Friday at 1.00pm, lunch then students may go home. Day student bus will come at 1.30pm. Students staying in will be supervised until the dorms open. 

Period 5 will start at 1.50pm – 3.20pm. 

Period 3 and 4 will be 2 x 45 minutes. 

I am getting a lot of feedback (greatly welcomed) about how to keep proceeding during this time. The general feeling is that we should remain open and keep students coming in, rather than reverting to full school or year groups at home online learning. This does come with the challenge of having a ‘hybrid’ model of some students here and some still at home, and also the added task of classes to cover. 

I thank you for your commitment and I do fully understand the wear on our well being. Hopefully an early finish is a little tonic for now and then next week we welcome back more teaching staff, things then start to look a little more ‘normal’.
